수많은 날들 집 근처를 서성이며 부르던 노래

어느 날 퇴근 길 라디오에서 흘러나오는 노래.
때가 가을인지라 현악의 선율과 남성 중저음이 가슴 깊숙이 밀려듭니다.
익숙한 듯 생소한 노래에 끌려 검색을 통해 찾아냈습니다.
이 노래는 미국 남북전쟁 당시 포스터가 만들었는데,
비참한 전쟁이 빨리 끝나기를 염원하며 많은 사람들이 불렀다고 합니다.
지금도 역시 많은 사람들이 이 노래를 불렀습니다.
그러나 그중 현악기의 선율과 잘 어우러진
Thomas Hampson의 노래가 깊은 여운을 남기는군요.
